MANILA, Philippines – Cherry Pie Picache, a veteran actress known for portraying notable roles on television and movies, shared how she was able to forgive her mother’s killer in the documentary Radical Love.

The 2019 documentary showing Picache’s journey to forgiveness after the brutal killing of her mother Zenaida Sison recently went viral on social media.

The actress’s 75-year-old mom was found lifeless with several stab wounds inside her home in Quezon City in September 2014.

Just a month after Sison’s death, Michael Flores, the victim’s househelp for 6 months, was arrested.

In December 2015, the Quezon City Regional Trial Court found Flores guilty of robbery with homicide. He was sentenced to imprisonment of up to 40 years for his crime.
