John Henry Ford, Jr. was born on June 29, 1953, to John Henry Ford, Sr. and Lonnie Mae Montgomery Ford in Warner Robins, Georgia. Surrounded by his loving family, he transitioned to eternity with his Lord and Savior on November 9, 2019, in Garland, Texas. 

John left Georgia as a child and settled in Cleveland, Ohio, with his family.

At a young age, he accepted Christ at New Jerusalem Baptist Church. He attended East High School and went on to begin a longtime career in the automotive industry with Ford Motor Company on April 19, 1973, in Brook Park, Ohio.

After almost 38 years of service with Ford, John retired in June of 2007. 

In 1972, he met the love of his life, Gladies Sales. The two united in holy matrimony on July 20, 1974, and four children were born to this union: two boys and two girls.

John and Gladies remained united for 45 years until his transition.
